Managing one’s time well is tough! For me, it’s all about trying to get the most done with as little time spent as possible — a.k.a being efficient." "" "That’s led me to discover that my best working hours are in the morning, so as much as I can, I try to get my most important work done first in my day. I then do things that are less focus intensive later in the day, like my daily workout and household chores. " "" "This pattern doesn’t always work, though! I swim best on an empty stomach, so I love swimming early in the morning before breakfast. For me, the benefits I get mentally and physically from getting my ~3 swims per week in the mornings are worth the slight productivity hit I take by not working in that time. " "" "There are no fundamental rules for managing one’s time; it’s all about what works for YOU! This harkens to my 3rd time management principle I described previously (https://lnkd.in/eRvt7y5): learn what works best for you and lean into your own best tendencies. " "" "Some may relate with my ability to do work in the mornings, while night owls are likely rolling their eyes. Learn what works for you, and then optimize for yourself #bendevtip
