Happy New Year!

Now that we're in the new year, it's time to think through what I'd like to be reflecting on at the end of the year. Resolutions, or goals, whatever you want to call them, are crucial to achieving anything, and the new year is as good a time as any to think them through.

The biggest goal I'll be completing in 2022 is completing my master's; I'm currently writing my thesis and have just finished a first complete 50-page draft. Just a few months away from graduating, after starting in 2017 and taking only a single class per term for the past several years.

In addition, I am to keep my thesis research work going and use that to continue deepening my understanding of machine learning and data engineering. But, to be fair, it's not just for learning purposes; the better I can make these models, the better I'll also do in my fantasy football competitions!
