For example, over the past couple of years, I've found that leaving my Fridays clear of meetings helps me get focus time I otherwise don't get to work through deep-focus tasks. That said, Search and its partners have seemed more eager to book Friday meetings than I've seen in previous teams, and it's not on me to stop that! Tuesday through Thursday mornings seem to have fewer meetings than before, so I'm expanding my focus time blocks then in exchange for reducing the amount of focus time I get on Fridays."
